STARBOARDERS

Our team of 8 people set out to develop a turn-based strategy game. It uses toys to life mechanics. Players could scan their miniatures with their phone to their account. On the computer they could login and use the scanned characters to play the game.

My role within the team was to create a responsive camera, networking / database implementation and conduct play testing with our target audience.

SOCIALIZATION GAME

The prototype is a socialization game in which players respond to various prompts and compare their answers. The game includes elements that facilitate social interaction and make it easier for players to start conversations.

The overarching goal of the project was to make a game for the client's platform that would facilitate socialization between players and help students overcome awkward or intimidating aspects of interacting with strangers. That goal has been met by the application.

CHARTABOTS

Using laser cut cardboard to make the miniatures and the board. Arduino to make it interactive.

A boardgame combining physical and digital elements to make something greater.

TRIPPYROAD

This game was a group effort. We had 3 artists, 1 writer and I was the programmer. The game is a visual novel, with few obstacles dodging minigames in between the dialogue. When talking to NPCs in the game the player could choose 2 questions to ask and learn about the local culture.

My role within the team was to program the entire game.
